Pentecost Sunday, May 20th

May 20 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

The liturgical color of red represents either martyred saints or the Holy Spirit since He is described in Acts 2 as tongues of fire.  Based upon this, there is an old tradition in Anglicanism of wearing red on Pentecost Sunday to celebrate the pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon the Church.  Be sure to wear red as we celebrate Pentecost.
